Feedback to applicants
Applicants (i.e. co-ordinators) are informed via the ‘initial information letter’ about the outcome of the evaluation process. The letter contains the detailed ‘Evaluation Summary Report’ (ESR) and a numerical grading of the proposal.
The ESR only reflects the results of the expert evalution and does not yet determine if the project will be funded by the EU or not.
A subsequent letter of the European Commission finally informs the co-ordinator whether the EU will enter into contract negotiation ('invitation letter') or not ('rejection letter').
