Initial Training Networks

While Marie Curie Fellowships and Grants apply for postdoctoral researchers only, the Initial Training Networks (ITN) offer structured training for PhD students that comprises

  • personalised career development plan
  • individual research project
  • complementary training courses
  • comprehensive mentoring

The networks are institution-driven and organised by at least three participating organisations (e.g. universities, research centres, SMEs). ITN propose a comprehensive PhD research training programme comparable to international graduate schools.
